Listen, I love everything Nicole has written, but this right here is on some other plane of STEAM. I am at a lost for words. If your ticker and ears can handle it, you should be tripping over yourself to put this book in your cart. I have over 400 books in my library and this immediately went to #1 in regards to the level of HOT!!!! combined with great characters.

Every page of this was fire. This is the first story I’ve read on this topic and it was a good one. The journey these two characters go on is sweet for them. The narration was great too. I enjoyed the acting out of the chuckles, the playfulness, the sweetness, and how vulnerability was acted. Easy read/listen and a page turner. Turn the A/C up!

Mother of God Almighty

This is very different from what I'm used to reading by Nicole Pyland. However, it is just as beautiful a love story as her other books. The theme may not be for everyone, but what I got from it was that the characters, Honor and Silver, found that they were each other's perfect match. It really highlights the importance of communication, trust, openness, and honesty in any relationship.

This book may also be the spiciest book I've read outside of dark romance... or maybe even including... maybe lol.

And kudos to the narrator- amazing job! 👏👏👏

Here’s a curious thought about this book- it makes me think about what we are allowed to see and what we are frequently exposed to in our civilization. Pornography isn’t even good sex, much less love making. It’s a series of images designed more for a camera angle or a physical act. We are exposed to tremendous amounts of violence in our society. It may be fake in an artistic environment (though some have died in the process of making that art) but in football, boxing and numerous other sports, the pain inflicted and the injuries incurred are very real. Some of those injuries are career-ending and life-altering; they are forever. War, which is now a media storm, and results in many injuries and deaths, is a spectator event now. The characters in this book are unconventional AND through brilliant writing, we make that journey from one side to the other in terms of sexual experience and expression with one of our main characters. To SHOW and SEE love making as opposed to violence seems a more honorable approach to the human experience, and yet, it is taboo. Being polyamorous but also committed to one person may not be for everyone, but everyone can likely appreciate the pure hot steam of this book. If nothing else, it’s undoubtedly good fantasy material. The narrator did an excellent job with multiple female voices, which is difficult, and she was complete perfection! What should you do now- be brave- use that credit and make it yours!

What are we allowed to SEE? That is a very sensuous question! This book has a very hot answer!
