Story was okay, paired with lots of spice 👌

Honestly I think it was either the narrators in this book or quality of the audible that killed a bit of it for me.

Both narrators did the thick accents while reading the dialogue of their characters, but then when reading the chapter itself, no accent. It was so off putting to keep switching, specially when the dual POVs are in first person. Also, it sounded almost robotic at times…

Spice was the highlight for sure, so keep in mind this is a low plot, high spice book.

Duet Narration - but….only okay?

This wasn't what I was expecting. It has absolutely nothing in common with the first book except a few characters. This one is much darker and really embraces love/hate relationship trope. It's good on it's own merit but I definitely liked the first book more.

This is the most entertaining book that I have read this year. The characters were made for each other.
