I will start with the narrator. All he did was read the book. You need to do a whole lot more than that these days. I was not drawn into the story at all.

The story itself did not draw me in either. Part of it was because of the narrator but I just didn’t find the story all that compelling. I tried multiple times but it just didn’t work for me.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I received this book for free with the understanding I would leave an honest review.

A hit man that falls in love is surely not a good idea, but it makes a good story. I listened to this story on Audible and while I loved the story line, the narrator lacked the excitement needed to bring this story life. He simply "read" the story. Although he articulated well enough, this just felt like he was reading. There were two things that I didn't particularly care for, the main character did not act like a hit man, well, at least he made mistakes that a hit man normally doesn't make. Also, I don't see how the two main characters fell in love. There was nothing between them but amazing sex. The sex was explosive, erotic, and oh so good. This was an, at times, nail biting suspenseful story. I especially enjoyed the scene at the warehouse and them keeping secrets gave the frustration that readers crave. A very enjoyable read.

Just when I thought I got a handle on this book, something happens to and then I have to reassess what's going on next. It's a cat and mouse game throughout the whole book filled with hot sexy moments. The ending though, definitely not what I thought was going to be the outcome. Looks like there will be more, just not sure it will be on the same characters. Worth reading.

Quinn is not what he seems and now he is involved with Christy whom he's been working with for the past year since he has been given a deadline for Christy's life, they have been sent to Las Vegas for a conference replacing to others that were suppose to be there something he arranged himself but then they find that Simone was there and should not have been but things don't seem to turn out as they should have. They started out in a 5 Star hotel and ended up in a 1 star motel with lots of adult content and action going on. Quinn and Christy cannot keep their hands off each other as kinky as she is and then they decide to take a rapids ride but are kidnapped by a trafficking ring but he and Christy take care of that but he finds out that Christy is not what she pretends. Interesting story line characters are interesting. Lots of action, adult content, suspense and romance with a twist. I was given an ARC copy by author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

I really don’t like to leave negative reviews but this book just didn’t do it for me. The beginning was okay, but as the story kept on, I found myself rolling my eyes repeatedly. I stopped this story and tried something else thinking that maybe I just wasn’t in the right frame of mind for it. However, once I returned to this audiobook, again, I found myself disinterested and I almost wanted to tune it out. I really struggled to get through this story.
