Good book, not quite as dark as her others, but Savio & Gemma aren’t as dark either: while there was tragedy in the book, this was about Savio maturing & realizing that even innocents like Gemma can be victims of the mafia life he is a part of. I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars bcz I was waiting for the Camora to get the Bratva for what they did to Gemma’s family & that never happened beyond the 2 guys who were captured at the restaurant. The narration was good, much better than in Remo’s book.

No matter how many times I listen or read this book I cry every time. This is my next favorite book of Cora Reilly. Remo’s book comes in second but Nino that one is number #1

Lots of action but no sex till you get to the 93 percent mark. I would of liked to see Gemma with more backbone and tease him with other guys. Especially since he had no problem doing that with his harem of women. I really liked it anyway.

I love this series but I really enjoy the audiobooks the narration it's pretty good.
