I really enjoyed the plot of this book! There were some twist I didn't see coming. I only wish it was a duet style audiobook

This was a spicy read. Serena was a typical college girl with goddess like beauty. The sexy Irishman Dimitri was her dangerous stalker and eventual lover. I did like the reasoning behind Dimitri's cause for most of his killing. He is clearly a product of a dark past and a boatload of trauma. The narration was done quite well. Both narrators did a good job of bringing the characters to life. I enjoyed the Irish accent. I felt that Serena's voice definitely added to her bratty persona. Overall, this was a solid audiobook.

I absolutely loved this story. The banter and chemistry between Serena and Dimitri were top tier. The reason for me giving the audio a 4 is this...When I do audio books, I like to immersive read. There were so many parts that I found where sentences were skipped, or not said at all, the wrong sentence was said, and extra words were added in. It threw me off.

It was interesting. I’m normally a huge fan of dark romance but something about this story didn’t quite grab me fully and I think it was a me thing. I kinda saw the plot twist coming so it wasn’t a huge surprise me.

I didn’t love the females male voice. I think that’s what turned me away from it over all. I just couldn’t get past that.

I think this story is perfect for smut loving dark romance readers.
