I loved this book couldn't put it down. With the FBI closing in on him Peter kidnaps Sara with the help of his team and they fly to his hidding place, even after Sara begged Peter not to take her away from her parents, patients and her friends. Peter treats Sara like a princess giving her everything, but also taking what he wants from her, and she even starts thinking that he wants to get her pregnant which scares her. Peter and his team do jobs here and there, but when there's a job that requires all of his team to be there he asks an old teammate and his wife to look after Sara. When Sara is left with the couple, Sara tries to get the womans to help her escape, but when Sara gets the chance to escape she winds up in the hospital and the man is afraid that he and his wife might now be put in Peter's list. When Peter is looking through his emails he sees one that will help him and his team retire forever, but when he reads who the target is he starts to think that if he plays his cards right he could give Sara what she wants.

I could go on and on with how ungodly dark this book is but utterly beautifully made too. It brings me to the depths of ones immeasureable love nearly boarderline obsessive. Scratch that! Its as obsessive as it can get. I'm as curious to read the next book now (I'm so giddy all over 😁💖).

You know, I’ve had more than one person tell me that my big heart will get me into trouble, some day. I’ve always poo poo Ed, such statements. How can being empathetic ever be a bad thing? After listening to the first two books, in this series, I think I have a possible answer. I’m actually routing for the villain. Because of his repeated tragedy and heartache, I’ve been willing to disregard his murderous ways. In fact, I’m disliking the kidnapping victim because she keeps inflicting emotional pain onto the emotionally scarred hired assassin.lol! I’m thinking that this is proof of good writing. So far, the story has been one emotional punch after another. I’m anxious to see how everything works out, so I’m on to the next book!
