Wowzer! This ending! Twist and turns as we get the final ending for these two! I am thrilled with this and that epilogue <chefs kiss>!! I cant say enough good things about this series! Action packed, enemies to lovers and “touch her and die syndrome”. Strong and sassy heroine and her over protective man who happens to run the Marchesi empire. Yes yes! Even got to see a bit of a character from her other series so that was exciting aaand makes me want to listen to that one again.

I listened to this on audio. Alan Carson and Kai Kennicott are the narrators. They are both ah-ma-zing! These characters were written for them!

This was a fantastic audiobook narrated by the very talented voice actors, Alan Carson and Kai Kennicott . This is the third book of the Marchesi Empire trilogy. Gianni's character portrayal was so spot on, it felt like I was hearing a real mafia boss speak. Alan really outdid himself voicing the tough hardened mob boss. Kai equally did a fantastic job as Becca, the mild mannered psychiatrist, who fell in love with her patient Gianni and even married him. Their story was suspenseful and fast paced and very entertaining.

Tormented Diamonds is the 3rd book in the Marchesi Empire series. This book is the continuation of Gianni and Becca's story and is told from both of their points of view.

This book starts out with Becca being upset with what transpired at the end of book two. However, her feelings for Gianni are still there.

There was suspense in this book. Twists and turns I didn't see coming. Gianni and Becca have been through so much. We learn more about both of them, and see them grow. Will they both get their happy ending? I am excited to see what is to come next from this author!

Absolutely loved the continuation of suspense, and twist and turns that we've seen throughout this series. Cora Kenborn is an excellent author. I wasn't disappointed with the conclusion. Definitely worth another listen of back to back audiobooks.

Alan Carson and Kai Kennicott are excellent narrators! They were cast perfectly for these characters. They brought the characters to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.

This is book 3 and the final in Kenborn's Marchesi Empire series, and I highly recommend reading/listening to these in series order. Our main characters are Gianna and Becca. This book picks up right where Tortured Hearts leaves off and plunges you into the action, danger and so much more! Oh, how far these two have come already and this book pushes them even further into the darkness and danger that surrounds them and their worlds. Plenty of shocking discoveries, twists and turns, realizations and more. I have to say that I really kind of loved Gianna's humor in some places. I really found that so refreshing, especially for this character. Becca is wise beyond her years and I love her strength. All in all, this was a captivating and compelling read that was well written, beautifully narrated and perfectly balanced with the best ever ending. Can't wait to see what's next from Kenborn!
