Here is another winner. I like the characters especially the children. There is a slight lull in the middle but the pace picks up. You will enjoy this story as well. All of these stories so far to me are 4.5 stars.

The characters in the story are fabulous. So richly endowed. The story held me captive from chapter 1. But best were the last few chapters. I stayed up late into the night to listen to the end of the story. I highly recommend this book and this narration to you.

This entire series so far has been great. a good story line and a HEA .. add the accents and the continuation of the other characters what's not to love! I'm on to the last one now!

I love this series and don't want it to end. This is one of my favorite narrator's. I always listen to stories he narrators, because I know I'm going to love listening to the story. This is my third time I've listened to this series and I plan on listening to it again. Enjoy! RLR

Enjoyed the banter between Alec and Mairi. Some of the dialogue was laugh out loud funny. I couldn’t help but giggle when Alec visited Mairi in the dungeon and found that her cell had been converted into a luxurious bed chamber. It was a bit of a surprise to find out who the traitor was and who killed Alec’s first wife. I recommend this series. Tim Campbell outstanding as usual.
