I also have a copy of the e-book because I prefer reading (you can search my handle to read my Kindle review). However, listening to Mistress Damiana's voice as she narrates adds another dimension to the experience. I sense an energy transmission and connection to her that is absent from merely reading the words.

Hearing her say the sample phrases of the Four Dominatrix Archetypes is especially helpful in understanding the tone and vibe of each dominant language style. The Multidimensional Dominatrix Activation is particularly enhanced as She guides you with Her voice and energy.

If you're an aspiring or practicing Dominatrix who desires to be the real deal in this craft, I highly recommend you get both the book and Audible versions for an immersive experience!

It has been a pleasure listening this book. Well narrated, good pace, and tone. Very easy to understand specially for people that are just beginning to explore the BDSM like me and even for the ones that have experience. I appreciate very much Ms. Damiana for the beautiful integration of the archetypes meditation she adds in this audiobook, very unique. I am a student of Mistress Damiana Chi at the Dominatrix Academy and this meditation really helped me to awake the archetypes within myself, and in applying the archetypes on a daily basis not just for the BDSM.
I also like all the examples from both the Mistress and subs she provided and the importance of the application of the archetypes .
I highly recommend the book and the training she offers in her Dominatrix Academy!

I feel like half the book was personal accounts. I think that I would have liked more emphasis on content and application of the information presented within the book itself. I think that personal accounts could be beneficial near the end or in a link as I'm most interested in the information and how the information contributes to an overall Dominatrix lifestyle as opposed to hearing extensive personal accounts.
The book was read well, very nicely attuned for easy listening and interpretation of information. the self given quizzes were beneficial as well and ready/easy to use. I enjoyed those immensely.
Overall, a book full of very pertinent and beneficial information, but heavy on other people's personal accounts instead of the authors.

A partner of mine introduced me to Mistress Damiana Chi's work as I was beginning to explore my Domme persona. I was hungry for knowledge on the subject and was highly attracted to Mistress Damiana's experience in Psychology--being a holder of a Ph.D--and her inspiration from Jungian archetypes in the development of her perspective and practice. After purchasing the book, I read through it in the span on two days. It was in large part what I was looking for as a beginner to the art of Female Domination. As a psychotherapist with a degree in social work, I found her deep considerations of ethical practice and submissive psychology, and her musing on the healing power of BDSM to be very similar to the language used by others in my field. I also appreciated the wholistic nature of the Multidimensional Dominatrix. The topics discussed and the language used is what kept me absorbed in the book and also, what struck me as her genuine love of BDSM and desire to pass on authentic traditional female Domination.

The reason I give this book 4 stars instead of 5 star is twofold. I felt the amount of testimonials present in the book to be unnecessary because I was already so absorbed. These may not have been intended to come off of testimonials, however, that is how they felt to me. In addition, I found myself wanting more supporting content. I would have liked to have seen more of an exploration of kink and Domination/submissive psychology from Mistress Damiana's perspective, as well as more time spent on the Jungian perspective and its relationship to Mistress Damiana's archetypes.

All of that being said, I highly recommend this book. If you are a beginning or even an experienced Domme, or interested in the bridge between psychology and BDSM, this audiobook will be a wonderful resource for you.

Wow! What an educational and comprehensive read. I was given an advanced copy of the audiobook as a student of The Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy.
Mistress Damiana Chi offers such a comprehensive and foundational approach to domination. Mistress Damiana provides an educational approach to the psychology and mastery of a well rounded Dominatrix. Having the perspective of professional dommes as well as the perspective of the sub coaches is invaluable. Being able to understand the psychology from the sub's perspective is one of the most valuable aspects of this book and the academy. This book provides a solid foundation for a successful practice as a novice or professional dominatrix. I do believe it is an essential resource
with insight you truly can't get anywhere else.

I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to explore conscious kink and female domination. It truly is a one-of-a-kind resource to guide your domme journey, as well as The Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy.

Growing up in the midwest I was not introduced to BDSM or much of anything else that had to do with spicing up the bedroom until I was studying to be an Erotic Blueprint Coach. In the process of learning I discovered my need and love for dark energetic and psychological creative play. There is so much I did not know as a young adult trying to keep my marriage new and keep myself interested. I was seeking and attracted to ideas that would take us both out of the day to day realities of being parents and life responsibilities.

While reading this book I discovered there were parts of myself I wanted to grow. I have a very strong nurturing mother Archetype naturally. In the bedroom I am a Dark Seductress.

Were I wanted to grow was in my Queen and Authoritarian.

As a business owner I felt that I could take a stronger stance sometimes with my employees.I also wanted to develope my queen archetype more so that when I walk into a room I demand presence.

I read this book and then I was a most definite yes to sign up to learn to be a dominatrix, not to necessarily to dominate others but to embody and develope parts of myself that I could use to be and feel more powerful in my day to day life.

I wanted to more deeply understand the deeper parts of myself and others.

Reading this book and taking the 6 month course has taken me into deeper inner work for my own personal well being. Each day I feel more sexy, more confident and I love who I am becoming under these teachings.

My cultural belief has been that I am here to serve others and for their enjoyment. As a Dominatrix I am served and everything I do is for my enjoyment. The switch and rewiring in my brain around that has been so powerful!!!

TLDR: this will help many people, even if they aren’t a Dominatrix or a submissive. Many different colors of the kink spectrum will benefit from this knowledge.

This book is so very helpful for many people, whether their goal is to be a Dominatrix or to become more confident and commanding, whether they are a Professional or a Lifestyler, or both, or to help a bottom/submissive learn to better choose a Top/Domme. Dommes, Tops, subs, bottoms, switches, and everyone else on the Femdom and FLR Female Led Relationship spectrum will better learn about themselves and those they lead and who serve them.

Those readers who do not practice BDSM will have a better understanding of the mindset of Femdom practitioners as well as practitioners of kink, and of BDSM itself, and the therapeutic healing kink can provide. This book is also a great resource for MaleDoms and Tops to learn about themselves and their subs/bottoms. Very ethical in practice, Psychology-based, and so very helpful. I have gifted this to two friends and to my daughters to help them become more self confident.

I will soon graduate from The Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy. I highly recommend The Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy, which is life-changing, as well as this book.

I am a woman who is discovering the Femdom lifestyle later in life than most do. Like many people, my understanding of the dynamic has been filled with inaccuracies and stereotypes, like “All Dommes are leather clad, whip snapping women who hate men”, “Submissives are damaged” That’s why they want someone to hurt them.” Mistress Damiana Chi not only dispels those myths, and others, but shows how a relationship in the lifestyle can be a healing, fulfilling adventure in adult play.

The audiobook covers a wide variety of topics, but the majority of the book focuses on the four major dominant archetypes detailed by Mistress Damiana herself, and the light and dark variants of each. The whip-wielding, leather clad Domme isn’t your style? She shows you how to be an original, confidant Domme that utilizes many different elements of the archetypes, and encourages you to blend them into your own unique, dominant person.

I’ve listened to the audiobook and read the book version, and while both contain the same information, the audiobook has a version on “activating” your inner Domme that is like a guided meditation session helping you to self-actualize your Domme identity. The information in the book version is valuable, but hearing it as you drift into a meditative state really drives the information home! If you’re like me you’ll finish with a clearer, more thoughtful idea of the kind of Dominant you would like to become.

Again, thank you, Mistress Damiana Chi! You are helping me to become the dominant woman I desire to be, both in and out of the bedroom!
