It's Katie Peterson's job to be a mouthy DJ, but being mouthy just got personal. Jess Harkins has started construction on a 60-story office tower next to Katie's quaint local radio station. But now Katie's barbs are directed at him, implying that any man driven to build a structure this high is obviously compensating for something. I enjoyed listening to this story and the only problem was the male voice doing the female and visaversa. Not sure why they didn't split it more but I can imagine that being a editing nightmare. The story was a little predictable but that's not necessarily a bad things.

This book was great! It had everything, and I do mean everything. The author proves she's not only a skilled writer but has the ability to create a story that literally stops you in the midst of whatever you're doing.

Don't pass this one up. It's worth the listen.

Yes, the dual readers were VERY annoying, but if you can build a bridge, get over it and get into the story, its a great read. Exactly what I was looking for to pass the time.

It is a good book. More like erotica then romance. Don't listen to it at work unless you have headphones.

What did you like best about this story?

She manages the conflict between being a proud and independent personality and the vulneriblity of falling in love well.

Which scene was your favorite?

The first time the hero and heroine are in her home alone together - her "bad girl" is a very fun, powerful bad girl. :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always laugh with VLT's novels, and she usually manage to jerk a few tears out of me, too, as she writes such interesting and likable characters and manages to keep the suspension of disbelief going even with some of the most extreme conflicts. This one was no different.

Any additional comments?

I enjoy VLT's novels largely because she writes good humor with distinct yet identifiable characters.
