I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This is the first book in a trilogy so ends on a cliffhanger... This is a great beginning of Zeus and Lucy's story, I was captivated and intrigued by the characters and the story-line. I love the chemistry, lust, and interaction between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a true alpha male and Lucy his omega. Narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a fabulous job with the characters and story, Tor Thom does a perfect Alpha, Oh My! That voice!! Exactly what I picture in my head what an Alpha would and should sound like! Can't wait for the next one!

Loved the audiobook the story was very entertaining, Laxmi is a fantastic writer. Narrator did a fantastic job also.

Taken by the Alpha by Laxmi Hariharan and Scarlett Brooke is a steamy listen with great imagery. The narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel captivated me. I love how plans change. Tor is the perfect alpha while Charley was all stubborn and sass. They are so delightful to listen to and bring the characters to life and add incredible chemistry. Warning this book ends in a cliffhanger.

Zeus plans to take over. Lucy plans to kill Zeus. But plans change and Zeus and Lucy fall for each other. I love the struggle between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a strong Dominant. Lucy is a stubborn submissive. The chemistry between these two make the relationship even more intense as they struggle to find the happy balance. Set in an Omegaverse, the paranormal aspect of the story adds to just a romance and gives it a different life. This was a fun and steamy listen.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are a perfect narrating team. Their natural chemistry brings out the chemistry in the characters. Thom is always the perfect alpha male with his deep voice. Ongel brought the sassiness of Lucy to life. Ongel has a way of narrating those sassy submissives and making the seem so real. Their narration brought this story to life and I felt as if I was a fly on the wall inside the story.
