I wanted to like this listen, but I had a hard time with the narration. I liked the idea of the storyline, but it drug on for me. Sexy times were sexy though.

This was an enjoyable listen---not great, but good. The opening elevator scene did not quite work as it should have worked. I am not sure just why it did not work. It should have been the scene to pull my attention into the story, but it did not work that way. The rest of the book got better.

I liked the male character better than the female character; he felt more genuine.

The narrator’s female voice was unappealing.

A great office romance story that's steamy with some suspense, intrigue & HOT scenes. I was happily engaged with the story and characters. An enjoyable book!

Lust in an elevator

I'm not a fan of BDSM but this book wasn't bad. BDSM is not the main point of the book and is more centered on the characters which is what made me enjoy it.
Joe and Victoria have a sort of insta-lust story but it works for them. I loved the way Joe helped Vicky open up after being so wound up and not letting her freedom through. It was wonderful watching their relationship grow.
I highly enjoyed the story and do recommend it.

I enjoyed how Victoria and Joe brought the heat! This book was full of steamy sex, romance, drama and suspense. The narration was great and kept you entertained. This author did a great job with her characters builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I will be looking forward to reading other books by her. I really enjoyed this audio, Duncan Edwards did a great job and as
always Marie Tuhart did not dissapoint. There was a solid storyline with characters you rooted for. I loved how Joe helped Vicki find herself again after hiding her more adventurous feminine side from the world because of her abusive ex.
The sex scenes between them were combustible.

The narrator did a good job. He really got into it; which is sort of uncomfortable at times ( the sex scenes), but a solid performance.

This one starts right off with some intense, passionate lovin’ in an elevator; very steamy. The pull between Vicki and Joe is too much to deny despite Vicki’s reservations. Vicki had a bad past relationship with someone she worked with; which continues to cause problems in her life since the guy won’t leave her alone, so she tries to deny the connection between Joe and Her. Joe won’t let her hide though, and sets out to woo her with romance. There’s some really sweet moments, but this book focuses more on the sex. Joe likes a bit of kink; toys and restraints, which makes for some woah scenes. They were pretty good; some of their talk wasn’t for me, but there wasn’t anything too extreme. This book focuses more on the sexual aspects rather than the story. It’s all entertaining. Vicki is a bit neurotic, but I like she dumped her ex right when he started be a jerk. She does let him affect her life too much in the present though. It was great how much Joe was there for her and helped her come out of her shell. Tons of steam with some heart. Interested in the story the whole time.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This author is new to me and she knows how to write a intriguing and erotic love story. She does a great job of character and plot development. Joe is a sexy man, and he is also thoughtful and caring about Vicki. We watch Vicki develop into a woman that is willing to take charge of her past and also accept the love that Joe wants to give her. The narrator is also new to me. This man knows how to read and make you feel the sex scenes! He portrays the characters emotions and personalities. He held my interest the whole time . I highly recommend this Audible book. I hated for the book to end.
