Karen Brody lays out a powerful, flexible structure of masculinity from the vantage of interacting with the feminine. Her examples are compelling and instructive. This structure presents one solution to the riddle of apparent contradiction in what the modern woman wants from the men in her world. It certainly gives me much to consider and an invigorated permission to experiment both with myself and the women with whom I engage.

This probably the most important book I have ever read. No joke! Me and my girlfriend were becoming quite unhappy. I thought most of the problem was with her. However, I discovered I was the one not properly leading the relationship. This book helped me reclaim my alpha status and man up!

Solid perspectives. mostly helps you identify with traits (archetypes) that women are drawn to. identifying with those features in yourself and expanding them for you and for her

After finishing yes audiobook. I have learned that I need to work on myself a lot more than I thought with that said I’ve also learned a lot of the things but I already knew just didn’t know how to express properly I also think it will be a good idea for women to listen to this book as well so that they can see what that there actions towards men could a lot of good men to become the bad guy or the death knight

You need others to help you identify your failure in sexual success. As a 25 year married couple we went through serious medical challenges impacting my wife's sexual experience. A cure was identified but 20 years of painful sex left it's scars. This book assisted in the way I helped with healing, identifying which architypes I forced or neglected to our detriment. There was immediate results in achieving fulfilling love life. Our honeymoon start after a mature 25 years.... Thanks.

I honestly didn’t have much expectations on this book as I saw myself sure about my masculinity. Yet this book caught me by surprise and awoke questions on some of my flaws and unaware behaviours in previous relationships. And, yes I got pretty upset and uncomfortable by perspectives shared in the book by the author, actually more than once, but retrospectively now I interpret my reaction as a natural reflex to avoid feeling vulnerable and to realise that I have to work in improving myself.

This is a great book if you are willing to listen to the ugly truth and you are really looking to be the best version of yourself as a man and as lover for you and your woman disrespected of relationship status or time being together.

Powerful and moving

I found myself being described by the author and becoming aware of my own past behaviors. The voice of the reader is calming and easy to listen to while the words of the author feel like she’s wants men to succeed. Great listen, will absorb again.
