It's a hot summer in Northern California and Lindsey is stuck at home feeling frustrated and alone. Her shallow boyfriend is history, her admission to graduate school is pending, and she can't stand her mother.

When her best friend Becky invites her on a camping trip to Yosemite, it seems like the perfect distraction. But before they go, one incident after another forces nearly everyone to cancel. Everyone, that is, except Becky's father, Richard. Recently widowed and still adjusting to his wife's absence, Richard was looking forward to the distraction as much as Lindsey. So, despite the awkwardness, the two decide to make the trip together.

Now Lindsey is going to be alone with her best friend's father for a full weekend, and there's something she's never confessed to anyone, not even Becky... she's always had a crush on the sweet and sensitive older man. When an accident on the trail forces the two to share a sleeping bag, she soon learns that the feeling is mutual!

I enjoyed this story about a girl having a tryst with her best friend's father. it was a good story that was easy to follow along with, I'm just a little disappointed at the ending because they didn't seem to get their HEA.

This was a sweet, hot story with good narration.
I thought it was believable and I enjoyed the romance and sex.
It actually had more story than I was expecting for the length of the Audio Book, which I liked.

This is like the there-was-only-one-bed trope but with a sleeping bag in the middle of a hiking trip and wowzies, am I here for it. Still there were some occasions when Becky’s thoughts were so weird they took some of my enjoyment of the story. This was short but spicy and almost bittersweet in the end. Overall a fun quick read.

This was a very good short book and a sexy fun listen. I was hoping for a different ending though. Sierra Kline did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This book was a good listen. A sweet and sexy start to a great relationship that in the end doesn't pan out. It doesn't have the ending that I was looking for, but it was entertaining, nonetheless.
