This book was hard to listen to be to the nature of the sick baby...Not only because nobody wants to hear the sadden story but cuz my son at 3 days old have an infection in his blood...and was hospitalized 10 days. And, I being a very young single mom went threw all that...The emotions are truly there and told with such truth it took me back to those horrible days...

But truly a great story!

This book was the perfect ending. Such a sweet story with a great amount of suspense and twists. Loved it!

Ella and Porter have faced so many hardships, challenges and heartbreaks in the previous books you think finally, now that they are married, all the hardships, challenges and heartbreaks are surely a thing of the past. So they bask in their hard won together time with lots of sex, tender words and loving touches and look forward to being a family. But unfortunately, in this very tender but equally very traumatic story, their joy at finally being parents are very quickly torn from them when they have to face maybe the biggest challenge of them all.

Porter is always so amazing, so loving, so supportive and so sexy you just want to melt and Ella is sweet, equally loving, caring and has such character growth in this listen you can't help but feel proud of her. You really feel the close bond between the secondary characters and their families too. There's also more drama caused by the capture, imprisonment and eventual trial of the mystery shooter.

Worth a credit? Dual POV's, great narration (especially from the sexy voice of Nelson Hobbs) and finally their long awaited HEA..... every book was worth the credit and, if you haven't yet started on their emotion filled, heartbreaking, beautiful and very romantic journey, all I can say is you lucky lucky listener because you'll get to hear their love story without the annoying months of breaks in between.

I enjoyed the third book of this triogy as much as the first two books. The story was a good balance of romance and mystery. The performances were excellent.
