Wasn't sure how I'd feel about a male narrator, but it still worked out for me. I think Michael Coffman did a good job of bringing this story to life. I forgot how short this first book was (read the book when it first came out), so I was a little surprised when it ended, LOL. Overall, I enjoyed it audio-ly and revisiting this world now that I know it's the same universe as another series I enjoy from this author, makes me view this book in a whole new light!

This was really fun as a short read. I enjoyed the story, it is spicy and truly follows the ABO world. I like all sorts of Omega-verse stories and the ones with monsters are always great, especially when the "monsters," beasts really are less monstrous then the humans versions. This can be argued that it was too short but it is meant to be a quick read to give you a taste of spicy content. The content was very good and it held a plot even if short. There was still an intensity of trust and need and acceptance between Sasha and Maler (Not sure if spelled correctly since I only have the audio version) My only issue really comes down to the narration. Michael Coffman has a delicious voice. He did not do much to differentiate between the two characters as could be desired from many, but that was minor. He was definitely the right choice for the male character in this. I felt that he did a really good job portraying Maler. He read Sasha's roles well though. The main issue I think had to do with the recording equipment, especially during the first time we got Maler's POV. This was a minor discomfort but I otherwise really enjoyed this story and the narrator. It made for a very entertaining lunch break. I do recommend this listen when you want something quick and spicy.
