The story started a lil slow and kinda dumb and the woman trying to speak in a black woman’s tone was horrible.. she sounded like she was reading not using f the right inflection on words… just not great

Slow burn

The book is so good. Family, loss, and finding love after tragedy. It is not predictable at all. Some of the love scenes are over the top but fit in where they are, adults only

Elite in every way

Elite is my book bae. I despise Jah. I like that everyone reconciled and it didn’t feel cheesy. It was a solid book.

Not bad

I love when I can visualize everything going on in the story. i waited or at was antipating Elite and Denali marriage and happily ever after. I am happy they found each other as they were made for each other.

Genuine happiness in the end

The story was good but there were a few plot jumps that made me rewind. Overall, good and the narrators did a good job bringing it to life.

Good book

The first half of this book had me constantly reminding myself it’s fiction. My fists were clenched and ready to knock Jah out! I’m pleased with how things turned out.

Stick it out

After book 1 I couldn’t wait to purchase this. I must say it definitely was not as good. I got through It’s just ok.

Slightly Disappointed

I. The beginning I couldn’t understand why we were focused solely on those two characters but that story was interesting within itself. I willed myself to continue to read hoping that it all would make sense, glad I did because the ending was what i needed. Glad to see that the two most important characters were able to come together to find that HEA. This was a good read.

A lot to take in

I loved the story and was happy Elite was able to find his peace and able to find someone that was truly for him. The female narrator should have been different
