I would estimate that I only review 5-10% of the stories I read/listen. The ones I review are usually tales I feel intense about whether it is dislike, objection, admiration, emotionally moving or just really enjoyed. All of this writer's publications have fallen in the last category for me.

I usually don't laugh while listening to narrations but the opening scene when Tyler leaves the bar is so well written that I could actually visualize the whole sequence (LMAO). Furthermore, I think she writes just the right temp of steam for me in her vanilla sex scenes. While I don't feel judgemental about anything consensual (as a health care provider who has worked in the ER and genetics, I think I have heard it all), I don't find kink stimulating to read for entertainment.

In conclusion, I like that her female characters are strong, vary in age, not a doormat, unashamed of their sexuality and do not have to always be virgins. Her male characters are usually so loveable because they are a mix of strong and vulnerable, respectful to other humans and animals and just basically good big hearted people. There is none of that knuckle-dragging, testosterone stench of the "alpha" male. I look forward to reading ALL of the works available by this writer.

I loved the narrator all through this book and enjoyed the entire thing. Great story.

The narrator makes the story sound like a nature documentary.

Would have liked an epilogue with more future info. There’s probably info in the series but I can’t bring myself to listen to them bc if the narrator.

It's not one of my favorite themes but it worked out alright for me.
at times I was bored and thought it was too wordy.

I’m sorry to say I couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes both times I tried. The narration is pretty off putting. The pauses are in all the wrong places. The tone & delivery are robotic.

I really wanted to listen to this audio book. I love the premise of the story. I could not get past the narration. I tried twice! The narrator sounds like a computer or robot. Not cowboy, not human. Bummer.
