Computer voice

Much better than I anticipated —except for the narrator. Very distracting to hear a very computer like voice, however, the story made up for it.

Liked the story line. And the twists and turns that followed these two. Onward for me.

I have found a new author & narrator to go into my very selective listen to over & over again file!! WOW!! Just when I thought it was predictable ....😲🤯 I was sucked back in! I had to stay sitting in my car at the Post office & the grocery store to get to a stopping point I could stand to wait to finish. So good!!! I just got my number of books listened to in 2019 ... 59!!! books!! And this one is going into my file with 2 other books!! That speaks for itself ♥️♥️♥️

Absolutely, any friend who isn't shy about hot & sexy scenes.

Tucker! Who wouldn't love the sexy, moody, strong, sweet....cowboy/soldier???

Which character – as performed by Alice Chapman – was your favorite?

I listened on 3x speed because it seemed slow. However, Alice Chapman did a fantastic with female characters & even better job portraying male characters. Very husky and deep voices.

Great Book, Bad Narrator

The narrator sounded like she had a mouthful of spit and a stuffy nose. Or a mouthpiece not sure, however, if you can ignore that, then the story was pretty good. I have always liked the author, but the narrator not so much.

Really enjoyed it. It's not as graphically explicit with the naughty parts as what I normally read, but a good book none the less.

great cowboy story / terrible narrator

the narrator does NOT need to pronounce every single syllable ... especially bc that is now how a cowboy talks...
her tone of voice for Tucker made him sound non-intelligent, which was clearly not the case.

Opposites attract romance. 3POV. DNF

This is a Flirty/sexy romance where opposites attract. The female is an uptight Professor from Vassar and the male is a bull rider/former military from Oklahoma. The couple has a one night stand and the woman ends up working at the same place as the man.

I gave everything only 3 stars bc the story was so drawn out. Something happens between the couple then you hear the events again from the female to her sister then you hear the events again again when the man tells his friend. I only had two hours left before I had to quit.

The narration is in third person and the story told by both the mans and females POV. I don’t really like 3POV and I really don’t like it when a female narrates for the man’s POV.
