This is one hot tamale a dark Mafia Romance which was so delightful it was just sizzling this book was so deliciously depraved and I loved every minute of it.

Thomas & Scarlet did such a beautiful job narrating this I thought they were absolutely a perfect duet.

Ah ha! We get Diego in here! We met him last book and I feel if anyone he needed a lady. So imagine my surprise when he is the star of this one! I enjoyed his attitude and his familial relationship. Then we meet his lady! Not what I expected for him but whoosh! She gives him a run for his money. She has her own amazing posse of women that add some humor to her side of the story. One of my favorite things is this is set in Alaska. Thomas Locklear and Scarlet Love are the narrators of this one. I enjoyed both of them and their vocalizations.
I look forward to more of these stories!

I enjoyed the series and will listen to the whole series. While the female narrator is fine for the female characters she is truly terrible for any male characters voice. This would have rocked as a duet because the male narrator is great. There is absolutely no difference between character’s “voices” so following who is “talking” can be difficult. Same in the first book and I’m sure same in the following books. Narrators can make or break a book. While she doesn’t “break” this series she doesn’t really help either. So make sure you listen carefully or you will be rewinding often.

This author never ceases to amaze me with her original stories and her writing abilities. Diego Santos is a crime boss from LA, and his ruthlessness and power is appreciated by his associates and the family he protects. Diego arrives in Alaska to take care of business and he meets her. Doused in her tequila drink at the local bar, Diego is set to make Sabrina his own and teach her some to respect and obey him. Sabrina is a county sheriff and finds this totally unacceptable. But the pull...
Mystery, intrigue, dominance, this book has it all along with some past history that ties this story together.
The narrators are the best in the business! I hear Thomas Locklear's voice in my dreams at night. Yes, he is that good.

Life comes full circle in this one!

Good story but it didn't get Truly interesting until the last 5 chapters. I would have liked more happening between MFC and News Woman. Narrator's were Great and Writing was good.
