I enjoyed this story about Master Cullen and Andrea. At times, it seemed a little slow thus a little long, but it kept a good pace.

Andrea was a complex and proud woman. At times, I found it hard to believe she was submissive, but she held her tough exterior and independence so tight, Master Cullen had to dig really deep to find that vulnerable spark.

I love how Master Z knows just what everyone needs, Masters and subs alike. It's also nice to get caught up on all the pairings we've had so far. I swear Jessica never learns her lesson 😊.

I'm enjoying the series and am ready for the next one, Master Marcus.

I've been slowly working my way through this series and I have adored each and every pairing thus far. I also appreciate the disclaimer from the author at the beginning for anyone not experienced in the world of kink. All that said, I didn't expect much more than romance and some sexy scenes from these novels... So imagine my surprise when this one had me full ugly crying. Cherise, hats off to you.

While I wouldn't say its my absolute favourite, it ranks up there on the list

When Andrea and Cullen reconcile after Cullen hears the whole story behind the lie.

Have you listened to any of Noah Michael Levine’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Noah does an excellent job. He is definitely the voice of the Shadowlands

The scenes were both male and female characters realized the extent of their feelings was very moving

Andrea is independent and stubborn and no Dom has been able to give he what she needs. Then she gets a chance to enter The Shadowlands trainee program. Master Cullen is the master of the trainees and is not interested in relationship but what happens when Andrea enters the scene?

The story is absolutely soul wrecking and I loved every second of it. I've read it before and I probably can read it a hundred more times and enjoy it just as much. And if you are familiar with this series I strongly recommend adding audio because the voice will melt your brains and panties:-)

The writing style is perfect in my opinion, easygoing, fun and also serious. There are no unnecessary description only what's essential to the story. The characters are well described and I feel like I know them.

Andrea and her stubbornly refusing to ask for help is so heartbreaking because I can picture her as a little girl depending on her self and feeling rejected. Cullen's way of helping her get over it is sneaky but perfect. The ending is great.
I laughed , cried and got excited.

If you never have read BDSM this is as close to reality you get so this series is a good place to start. Always when I read a book I have a open mind and try not to judge because it's fiction even if it's close to reality.

This was a great story of what it really takes to give ourselves to someone else completely. Sinclair wrote it perfectly and Levine delivered an a great performance that tugs at your heart.
