The best thing about a good MC book isn't he alpha men. I love the 1% mentality too. not to mention a strong woman that loves to submit. this book has that and more. I can't wait to listen to Holly and Sy's story. Good read. Check it out!!!
The narrators are also really good. They both bring the characters to life. Both believable and appropriate for the story. This you will also enjoy.

I loved the storyline...I mean who doesn't love a sexy, alpha biker?!?! The one thing I didn't care for were he voices. I didn't picture them having a southern accent and sometimes the voices seemed inconsistent.

This is one of my favorite mc books- it's been a few years since I read it so I was kind of worried it wouldn't live up to my memories, but happily it did! I love me some Nix Knight! And I loved Kadence too, I loved that she gave as good as she got with Nix- she wasn't some shrinking violet.
What I loved best about this series is there's no cheating, none of the real ugliness you see in so many other mc books/series. I don't know anyone in an mc club in real life, so the way some of the stuff is portrayed other books may be realistic, but it's not anything I need or want to read about. I liked that once Nix set his sights on Kadence, she was it for him- he didn't have any use for anyone else, especially the club "whores".

The narration was great- Joe Arden was a terrific Nix!

It was great to revisit old friends!

Nix and Kadence? Off the charts! These characters are complex, real, and completely captivating. Nix, the strong alpha with a hidden sweetness, and Kadence, brave and relatable, had me rooting for them from start to finish. I felt every emotion right alongside Kadence.

If you crave a riveting story with action, thrilling moments, and a hard-core romance that will make you fall in love, 'Incandescent' is it. And if you understand the edgy, gritty, yet ultimately lovable world of MC characters, you'll find this book to be a standout. It's easily one of the best I've listened to in years.

Addictive. Phenomenal. Hands-down a must read!

This audiobook pulled me right in from the second it started and held me captive all through the very last word. From the amazing storyline to the fantastic narrators, this audiobook was perfect.

Nix was a deliciously protective alpha male that had me swooning through and through. I LOVED Kadance's character because she managed to remain true to herself even while being introduced to the MC lifestyle, which let's be honest, it can derail anyone. I also liked that she didn't just give into Nix. She made him work for it and it was very fun seeing him go after her. He loved a good chance and Kadance made it worth every minute.

The suspenseful aspect of the story was gripping and a true page-turner. River Savage's writing style is captivating and hearing the story brought to life by these amazing narrators was epic.

A true must-read book that you need to pick up if you're in the mood for angst, action, drama, suspense, and some seriously hot scenes! FIVE STARS!

Overall, this was a really good read/listen. Couple of minor quibbles... the male narrator's secondary characters often sound stupid and/or stoned. Also, the author has a habit of glossing over scenes and then "telling" us what happened instead of the scene being part of the book.

First Reaction: Alpha Male MC President + Scarred, sexy and stubborn school teacher = A HOT Romance story.

What I liked about this book:
-The characters complement each other. (Phoenix) Nix is the typical alpha male but Kadence doesn't only stand up to him but
also pushes back.
- The scenes were well written.
What I didn't like about this book:
-Kadence made several choices throughout this book that should go against her natural sense of self-preservation.
-For an MC president, Nix is really in-tune with his emotions. While this works in some instances, it doesn't play true to a biker
character.
-Kadence talks the talk but that doesn't hold up for long against Nix.
-The transition between scenes was abrupt, which can be confusing at times.
Would I recommend this book? Yes.
