As a compilation of three books, overall, it was very enjoyable. The characters were fun and kind of quirky. I just had a hard time with the narrator’s male voices and Ricca’s voice... especially in the second book. It was like listening to a nine year old having sexy times. Just felt wrong. I kinda wanted to puncture my eardrums.

Loved this series! The three friends are ladies I wish were real and friends of mine. Hot stories, with hot men. Intrigue, lust, love, suspense all in one bundle. Brava!

Books 1-3. of the 'in Stilettos' series was my introduction to this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Each book is a combination of light hearted banter, meaningful friendships and an underlying gritty story to keep the reader guessing.

I listened to all three back to back and was rewarded with a fun, sexy, sultry and sassy good time. The friends each have their own book starting with Jaya who meets Alec who is best friends with Caleb who fancies Micha and rounding out the trio is Ricca and Beckett who fancy each other.
I enjoyed the friendships, great to see the supportiveness among these six characters.

Sassy In Stilettos (Micha and Caleb) is my favorite even though it was book three. It was the most relatable to me and Caleb was just plain old sexy.

Sexy In Stilettos was book one and even though I liked Jaya, if I was her friend there were several times I’d have pinched her....her family .... I’ve no words for them....Alec was a God send to say the least.

Sultry In Stilettos was just a sweet story and I rooted for Ricca and Beckett to communicate and get it on!

All three books had a criminal element in them which enhanced an otherwise fairytale love story.

Traci Odom’s narration was great. She added layers to the characters,and there were a lot of them, yet she managed to give them individuality and I was never confused as to which character was speaking.
Well done Nana and Traci.
I will dive into the rest of the Stilettos series.

Can I be real? I am absolutely sick of listening to white women voice black characters. When I choose a book I am specifically choosing it because it is a black character. Why are these characters always being voiced by white women? They do not talk like we talk. We do not talk in those baby doll like voices. We have more rasp to our voice and our voices tend to be deeper. And most importantly, they usually do not get the sass right. When hearing them read a line I find myself going that is not how a black woman would say that. I really do wish I had more time in my day and the finances to be able to become a voice actor myself. We need more black female narrators. I want to enjoy the story fully and quite often I forget the character is black. I continue to listen because I love Nana Malone's stories however I cringed all the way through it especially when she did the voice for Ricca. That is supposed to be a Trinidadian girl. why why why did she sound like Barbie's little sister?!

But at the same time is a light reading... totally worth the credit
