Home: A Crown and Glory Lesbian Love Story

By Zuri Amara

Two women. One shelter. A love that feels like coming home.

Ex-military and newly settled in Charlotte, Meeka Butler carries the quiet ache of loneliness and a lifetime of discipline. When she volunteers at a women’s shelter, she’s not looking for connection—just purpose. But then she meets Tavia Morrison, the shelter’s poised and passionate HR director, a woman who hides her exhaustion behind impeccable professionalism and long hours.

What begins as a working partnership soon becomes something more profound. Long nights spent building safety protocols give way to laughter, friendship, and undeniable chemistry. Together, Meeka and Tavia learn that home isn’t just a place—it’s the people who make you feel seen, safe, and loved.

Set in the world of the beloved Crown & Glory Series, Home is a tender, grown-woman love story filled with sisterhood, sensuality, and second chances. Surrounded by the women of the Crown & Glory salon sisterhood, Meeka and Tavia discover that real love is both a sanctuary, a revolution, and a home.

Más relevante
Shorter listening time, easy to finish in an afternoon. Black woman main characters. Sensitive plot points without being triggering. First time listening to an AI voice, not my favorite voice but it was okay.

Easy sapphic listen

Se ha producido un error. Vuelve a intentarlo dentro de unos minutos.

Meeka got very drunk and flirted with Jo who was married to Mia. Mia handled it very well and put Meeka in her place. Meeka made a promise to Mia to stop drinking and stuck to it. She also had to promise to do some community service with the women's shelter for a day. There she met Tavia the HR director. They had instant chemistry, but Tavia was looking to hire Mika for a job there.

While the book has to do with the woman shelter and abuse, there was nothing really spelled out.

There is a little spicy mature content but nothing over the top.

I enjoyed the story, but it would have been a much better listen if it wasn't for virtual voice.

Sisterhood stricks again
