Story was okay but the narrator was awful

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

ending was not great. Story could have ended in many better ways that would have encouraged the reader to seek other Amira Rain titles, but it just didn't do that.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narrator was terrible. She has an immature voice and a manner of speaking that sounds like a teenage girl complaining about something. She mispronounced words that my 10 yr old son knows how to pronounce. English might possibly be her second language...or maybe third.

Do you think Her Lion Guard: The Complete Series Box Set needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Only if the follow up book is written with the same mindset that Amira wrote the other books she has written. Honestly, this is the worst book of hers that I have read.

If this is your first Amira Rain book...this is NOT a normal representation of what her books normally are like. This is the worst story written by Amira Rain that I have read. Give her another chance and read ANY other book of hers !! You won't believe that it is by the same author. Her books are normally amazing and this book was just very ...bleh...

Unless Amira suddenly lost the ability to use spell check, I don't understand why the narrator was unable to pronounce the words correctly. I could list a dozen words that she butchered, but it would be mean. I understand that not all people enunciate all words the same, but se of herS were not even phonetic it was very distracting to listen to. I will probably buy this in print and read it myself.

Young human girl found out she was offspring of shifters. She was suppose to have special powers that will bring shifters & humans more together. She has a lion mate & friends that form a family/pack. She was for-told to be a "leader" for a new way of life for shifter people.But some want to keep things the old way despite low birthrates. Some shifters want the opportunity to be more that being born omegas. Shifters that gave birth to pure humans would kill their offspring due to hatred of the weaker species.This story was BLAND. There wasn't any global, racial or cultural diversity. NO PEOPLE OF OTHER CULTURES OR RACES. But, lots of different ANIMAL shifters.. Personally if felt bored with this story. It had potential but, it never delivered. 4 stars for reader but, 2 stars for story. I added an extra star because i'm a sucker for ANY love stories.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

It was a YA or Teen book. There was no erotica at all. Kissing is all and I'm half way thru. Ugh hope it gets better because I'm sick of wasting my money on books that are listed incorrectly.

Why is this listed under erotic romance !??!!
