What made the experience of listening to Graphophilia the most enjoyable?

I really liked that you had to really read/listen to story. It remind me of a short story I had to read in college about wallpaper and madness.

Using grown up verbiage and mature, skilled writing, AE Saachi brings us a short little bit about a woman who is tired of the norm. She wants to be wrapped up and swept off her feet, so she does the only thing she can. She picks up pen and paper and writes.

She writes erotic stories that center around her and every fantasy she can conjure.

Would you listen to Graphophilia again? Why?

It was interesting to see how sensual thoughts can be put on paper out of the norm, and create a picture that speaks volumes.

What about Audrey Lusk’s performance did you like?

The narrator was strong and fulfilled the intent of the story with a stimulating voice.

I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t enjoy this listen. I’m all for erotica and am definitely not a prude. However, I do require my books to make sense. Unfortunately, this one fell short for me. In short, A woman has a bad experience in bed with a new lover and just can’t seem to find someone who will fulfill her so she makes up a lover and slowly and irrevocably goes into a spiral. She spends all of her time with this dream lover and can’t seem to be bothered with the real world anymore.

Audrey Lusk’s narration was a detraction for me, too. She read the material in what came off as a sarcastic manner to me and I found it irritating rather than endearing. The material is about a woman slowly going crazy and becoming a recluse and she sounded like she was telling us a juicy story that we are going to find hilarious. It didn’t work for me.
