Allison, a snobby rich girl who has been raised to be a miniature version of her snobby rich parents, has a secret: She wishes for all the experiences that her lifestyle has kept her from having. Victoria Mei did a fantastic job narrating it! She had all the moans and vocals down pat. I sure hope she narrates the next one. She will draw you right into all of their play.

I read this story, then listened on my commute. It seems so much more “forbidden” out loud!!

It’s the first of 3 stories.... I recommend the entire series... you won’t want to stop!!!

This is the first book in the Poker Loser Series. This is a short very steamy erotic romance. I was a little out of my comfort zone while listening. I would have liked more story between the steamy scenes. Victoria Mei did a great job with the narration. If you like erotic romance, this one is definitely for you. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.#earbudsrequired

Golden Angel has given us the first part of the Poker Loser Trilogy and I have to say, it's intriguing! Allison is from a pretentious family who expects her to be the good girl, marrying a man that is her status. Allison is infatuated with Todd, a good looking, man on campus. When he asks her out, she goes, and after a drunken poker games is the star of a explosive sex tape. But the only thing Todd wants in exchange for the tape is 5 dates. Will she go on the dates to keep her reputation? Holy hotness, this book takes us on those dates, and we get to see Todd bring out the true Allison. These two have incredible chemistry, and through the steamy scenes, there is an underlying romance. But will their feelings come to fruition? Will Golden Angel keeps us guessing and we will find out where the story takes us in the next installment. Be prepared for the steam in this story. If you do not like erotica, this may not be for you. But if you do, it's the beginning of an amazing trilogy!

The pick of a narrator for this story has to be chosen carefully. Not only do they have to have great voices, but the ability to deliver the scenes with finesse. Victoria Mei is cast perfectly. She has incredible talent, giving voice to the characters. She makes the scenes erotic with a sense of vulnerability that lets us know growing feelings of Allison and Todd. I love her portrayal and can't wait to see where these two go next!

Golden Angels' enemies to lovers story is a winner. The story was fast past tho s little more taboo than her previous series. I thought Victoria Mel did a fairly good job tho her cries of "ecstacy" we're distracting. I was fortunate to win a credit for this book.

Book 1 in the series. I’ve got hooked on this story from the beginning. Golden Angel wrote a story that had lots of twists and turns . The heroine and hero come from different worlds . Both their world changes when the hero challenges the heroine out and it leads to a night that she won’t forget

Victoria Mei Performance was great. Her voice is husky , clear and smooth

Warning ear buds or head phones needed unless you are alone! Golden Angel has written an explosively kinky story that you'll hate to put down. Todd will make Allison's kinky dreams come true. We will see Allison go through so much character development. This spoiled stuck up rich girl will develop empathy and understanding of those not rich like her family. She will have a sexual awakening and learn what is really satisfying and important to her. As you listen to this story, you must remember that Todd is fulfilling her sexual dreams. Since this is a trilogy there will be more to their story. The second and third ebooks are available now. Victoria Mei was a superb choice as a narrator. She makes these hot sensual love scenes even hotter. She expertly portrays the emotions and personalities of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book if you love kinky panty melting stories.

This is book 1 of a 3 part series and MY GOD was it super dirty and sexy! Golden Leaves you wanting more. Victoria Mei does a wonderful narration!! Her voice sounded like naughty silk that keeps you into the story.
Will say that this book might not be suited for everyone, there are some "graphic parts" but Golden and Victoria have a way of making it very decadent.

***I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. Before we go into this, this book is a work of fiction. The author has made clear blatant obvious discretions that there are dubious and questionable content that should not be condoned on real life. As such, this review is based on a suspension of belief and based on type of genre/tropes of this story***

Story and Character:
The story plays out almost every sex fantasy a person could have. Although the method Todd used to introduce Allison to do so was through blackmail, I do believe he made certain Allison would be okay with it before he acted on any of it.

In a sense, he wouldn’t make her do anything she wouldn’t be okay with and ensured her she could always bail. I appreciated the degree of respect because it meant he could control the level of safety rather than have Allison discover it herself and act recklessly as a newbie. Even if Todd feels bouts of jealousy, he doesn’t get possessive and impede Allison’s sexual adventures/exposure. He wanted her to discover her sexual wants and needs and embrace them. So kudos to the sex positivity.

The story did get predictable pretty fast, but I don’t mind as long as it’s executed properly/reasonably. Allison feels confused between pleasure and intimacy; whereas Todd struggles with self-esteem and feeling worthy enough to date Allison for real. I could imagine a lot of judgement and pressure the two must feel coming from different social classes.

I also appreciate that the two are taking some time to figure things out in their lives before committing, which makes sense for anyone in their early 20s. The book is short listen and a trilogy so hopefully we see more development and communication in the future. Side characters are likable enough and quite different from what I would have expected.

Overall the story was short, hot, and sweet 🥰 I didn’t get a sense of angsty drama but I can’t say for the next installment.

Narrator:
Victoria Mei is a new narrator for me, and I absolutely love her voice. Her voice is smooth and has a reserved sultriness to it. However (and I think it goes for all romance books), the sex sounds/moans can get a little cringey. Honestly, I don’t think any narrator can execute this without sounding a little ridiculous. But overall, I want to hear more from Victoria Mei.
