Incredibly unprofessional narration. Strange inflections. Repeats of sentences over and over. Made getting through this short story impossible to do

I liked the fact this book was quick to listen to and an interesting story. This was my first book by this author and a new narrator for me (Jonathan Waters) and I would be willing to listen to more by this author and narrator. I felt the story was good and the narration was good, but I was disappointed in the editing of the audio files. I feel like the outtakes were not merged in and the original take edited out, instead they were just dropped in and many sentences were repeated.

The premise of the story drew me in. Get close to the big tycoon to get revenge for shutting down your bookstore. Unfortunately, the story fizzled out for me. It was odd that certain lines would repeat itself. It would seem that there is some additional editing that needs to be done. I appreciate that this was a short story, but I still feel like there was some back story missing. A little more history into the characters would’ve done it for me, but I still enjoyed it for the quick listen that it was.

Not sure if it was bad editing or the narrator. Sentences were repeated constantly and with long delays. It was very difficult to get through for such a short story.

I had to stop listening to this audio because it has bad flow, badly written and the narrator keeps repeating lines and the pause between chapters is too long.

Should be reviewed.
