loved the story. a bit juvenile but hey sometimes that's what scratches the itch. enjoyed a nice raunchy naughty dirty hero story. however, the reading was horrific. it's as if a 12 yr old were in front of the class hurrying through her reading assignment, stopping mid sentence often having lost her place. it is so bad it becomes a dread to resume the story.

I really enjoyed the story but the editing and narrator are really bad maybe book 2 will be better.

the story line was good.
would have been very enjoyable but...
the narrator was gawd awful.
it was tough to listen too.
i almost want my credit back but im not going to make a stink.
all the books ive listened too, this was the least enjoyable.
but this is only my opinion

there is a TLDR below, but to put it lightly, the narration from 'Catherine Carter' in these books is AWFUL, and I feel horrible saying that knowing how much work was put into the production from her, but wow, you CANNOT expect someone that is not a talented very talented voice actor to pull off multiple voices and it come out not making your ears bleed, and cringe at parts you shouldn't, it overshadowed the story, which is full of sexy fun, which I think was actually written to the degree I like more of, but overly personal to the writers gross, and taboo tastes, if that's your thing... all for it get this book and enjoy, that said... it hard to enjoy even the dirty (not good dirty, but what the eff did he just write dirty) scenes because the actress cant do the male and 2 females with 3 different accents, she tried, and it shows, but I feel horrible that she wasn't given a duo narrator male, or some help with post production because this was atrocious, Catherine will do well with a male partner for voice, but this is just ear ra... hurt.
That is NOT to say people wont enjoy this one, many will, and wont care about the narration being almost unbearable to me.
story is logical (for the genre obviously), MC is a turd, but that's the genre, and my last gripe... the cover art is just stupid, okay I said it, needs work, but there is 100% something here to be built upon, but I DID NOT buy the 2nd book after the sample seeing no changes, and same narrator trying their best but not being able to do something only very few can do alone.
TLDR; if you want the sexy fun times, a bit of story, some action, and the genre blown wide open with no fading and curtains got lost in amazon prime HQ, get this book, but remember, you will have to deal with a narrator using a very bad accent, and similar voices for everything lol.
pleasee step up your production because I love the way you think (other than the butt stuff)

I have the feeling that the story is being made or broken by the narration.

I'll likely continue the series.

There's almost no character feeling in the dialogue even though I worry that the way the dialogue is written makes each of the characters speak patterns excessive.

That said I shouldn't be worrying about that when trying to enjoy a story.

Overall the whole story seems like setup for future story. it's definitely been entertaining enough for me to keep me interested.
