Are you ready to get Dirty Sexy with a SAINT?
Clay Kincaid knows he’s more a sinner than a saint. Especially when it comes to women. With a rough and damaged past that has left him jaded, he doesn’t do committed relationships. But he does like sex—the hotter and harder, the better. He likes it fast and filthy, which is why he refuses to even touch someone as sweet and guileless as Samantha Jamieson. Until he discovers that she likes it just as down and dirty as he does. Let the sinning begin …

Sophie Eastlake is one of the few female narrators than can make alpha males sound sexy. I usually crave dual narration to give me those dark, delicious thrills, but my girl rocks this book. For a 6 hr book, there’s a surprisingly complete, well written romance for this kind of genre. It has the perfect mix of contrived circumstances, bad boy vs good girl friction, and hawt, wicked get togethers (four of them starting just before the three hour mark). While the kink and the F-bombs fly, this still involves honorable alphas and consensual rough and tumbles. This is a solid Dirty, Sexy series.
Dirty, sexy, and let’s not forget mouthy

I regret buying a book I’ve already listened to in a collection.

I was also really disappointed with the authors when they described one character’s bad teeth, saying that his disgusting teeth were a clear sign that he was a bad person. Actually, dental neglect is more indicative of a person’s access to basic medical care, which is also not a gauge of a person being good or bad. There are wonderful human beings in this world who can’t afford to get their teeth bleached, but still deserve respect. The same goes for how they described the man’s body odor, which likely meant he was experiencing homelessness, and is in no way related to his value as a human.
For these reasons (and more), I came to picture the authors as either very young and naive, or very old and ignorant. Some of the stupid things they wrote sound just like a bratty teen who thinks she’s the sh!t but is really embarrassing herself. And some of the things they wrote sound like something an old racist grandma would say.
Either way, out of touch.
The steam level did not make up for the poor writing/story.
Was this written by teenagers…or the elderly?!?
