The narration was great, but I just didn't love this one as much as the other books in the series. I didn't really feel either way about the relationship and I honestly couldn't stand Diablo. Maybe I just don't like brats? There were moments that were definitely funny and enjoyable, but it didn't hit me in the feels the same way.

Extra spicy with a side of violence! They saved the best for last with this one. Lots of trigger warnings but these red flags are pretty green in the end.

I LOVE this series and only have one left. Already read the mafia spinoffs too... This is my least favorite. It's the entitled brat personality on Diablo. He's like a 2 yr old and I already raised 4 kids out of the terrible twos so this crap was just nerve wracking to me. I would have walked from the job, not gave him handjobs. I think it was made even more disappointing bc I've already read the spinoffs and I guess my perception of him there was that he was a hot headed badass but this book made him out to be a whiny little bit**.

I've been dying to find out what was going on with Diablo since Lex and finally got to see what was up. After pissing off someone he shouldn't to protect his twin brother, he's bouncing from safe house to safe house with Skylar, his bodyguard. Diablo is a little brat, and the more time they spend together, the more buttons Diablo pushes until Skylar has the teach him a lesson(s)! Things heat up and walls come down as these two navigate new feelings while trying to stay alive. Diablo is crazy, unhinged, and sweet in his own way. I really enjoyed this story and loved the ending. Looking forward to seeing more from the Unexpected series!

The audiobook brought the story to the next level! Liam and Alexander were just perfection as always, loved it!

Oh Diablo he is wild I enjoyed this book it was a wild ride for sure. I highly recommend this one. One to the last book in the series 🥰

Great little romance. Narrators made the characters come to life….especially Diablo, narration made his personality shine! Another great book in the series…

Quirky and addictive

As soon as Diablo was introduced I immediately knew I was going to like his story. Then when both Skylar and Diablo were introduced together…hot damn..I knew their story was going to be hyped, and I was correct! Diablo’s badassary and when him and Skylar got to bickering…it will leave you giddy. Less steam but the kinks be kinking in this one! All around you get a bit of everything in this..even had me tearing up toward the end. This was by far my favorite! *Sem and Maddox coming in a hot second. Idk there’s something about that big and smol biz that I just can’t get enough of. I’m just sad that this is the shortest book in the series and I think they deserved a longer one but I still loved it either way! Will definitely be rereading this!

I can’t believe i listened through chapter 5. OMG it was horrendous. And I loved all the others before this book. In the years I’ve been reading I may have DNF 3 other books. But I just couldn’t listen for another second. Poor Skyler was not getting paid enough to listen to Diablo’s whiny ass.
