Well written, fast pace and steamy Audiobook for sure. For me, Delta James never disappoints. JT Farrell’s narration makes it all the more better.

When James sees Shannon, he knows that she is his true mate. He plans on saving her and two other women who are being auctioned off by sadistic sex traffickers. But the women who have been rescuing these sex slaves beats him to it. This book wraps up so many storylines including some new ones. I'm afraid that if I comment anymore I'll give away spoilers. I'll say that this is such an exciting and emotional story. Start this book early so that you don't miss a lot of sleep, like I did. Delta James really outdid herself with this book. This is a book and series that I'll be listening to again. Thanks JT Farrell for your excellent narration. I highly, highly recommend this Audible book!!!

I listened to the audiobook. The narration was ok, but I think it would have been better had their been a dual or duet narration with a woman narrating strong, fiesty Shea's dialogue.

Is this really the last book in the Wayward Mates series? I will miss looking forward to the next installment.

I couldn't imagine Shea ever coming around to being turned, much less believing and accepting she was James' fated mate.

I loved the women's strength, intelligence, and loyalty, and bravery. Also how their mates doted on them, felt protective, but ultimately acknowledged their skills and intelligence. One very positive thing about James and Shea is that they liked each other. Shea grew to trust James and he gave her the time to do so.

This book had some really creepy players in it and I appreciated that they were handled.

A book was full of action, intrigue, romance, and it had a number of funny moments. A very enjoyable read.

I voluntarily listened to and reviewed this audiobook.

What a great ending to a wonderful series. I suggest starting with book 1 because each book in some way blends into the next book. The alpha of the rogue wolves was horrible—very smooth, but horrible piece of work. It was nice to find out what happened to Shannon. She was very strong and did not give up. I don’t know that I would have been as strong or lasted as long as she did. It was awesome how the women snuck away from their mates to go all the way to Canada to free the women. Before the auction, James realizes Shannon is his fated mate. He pays $500,000 just so none of the other bidders could touch or spend time with her prior to the auction except him. The women had everything planned to the last detail except how Shannon would react. I am glad the rogue alpha got what he should have gotten ages ago. James' father was a b@stard and he got exactly what he deserved. I am truly sorry to see the Wayward Mates series come to an end. Maybe Ms. James will decide to update us on the couples in a future book. I would highly recommend listening to or reading this series. As always, JT Farrell did an awesome job with the narration. He is the voice of the Wayward Mates series. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This had a very intriguing storyline that kept me thirsty excited and on edge from the very beginning to the jaw dropping end .

I have read several books by this author but this is my first in this series. It does not disappoint. If you like strong women that stand up for themselves and the strong alphas that live them, this is a good example. Shannon is taken by a sadistic trafficker, held captive for a year to be trained how to submit and is going to be sold at auction. She has attempted escape several times, caught and punished. That doesn't stop her from trying. James has worked his way into the auction to attempt a rescue. Things don't go exactly as planned. Now there are several people looking for her. The one thing I didn't like was her anger and aggression for the folks trying to rescue her and the other girls, even her own sister. James, her mate, is willing to give her as much time and space she needs. As good as this was I need to go back to the beginning and catch up.

the wrong voice for this story, I skipped a bunch of conversations. Too many accents. Not well written.
