With the books by Cherise Sinclair I get everything I want and need from a BDSM Romance novel: interesting characters, a compelling story, and BDSM scenes that show a profound knowledge from the lifestyle.
Noah Michael Levine is a great narrator - or should I say voice actor - and I love how he adds to the characters by giving each of them their own voice.

This book was amazing so were the two books before this one in the series. Wish there were more books out there like this book.

Beth’s experiences is scary and I can understand her fears. But in she finally fiends something good even though it’s not easy to see at first.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
The shadow kittens is starting to form a strong bond and take every stray under their wings, I love that!!!
Sizzling chemistry is building to a strong relationship but danger is lurking.
This was fun, scary, exiting, romantic and hot.

This book is part of a series and I recommend reading in order because of this:

I love that I can recognise the previous characters and feel like I know them.

I also has the audiobook; the narrators is reading with feelings and has clear pronunciation so I enjoy it very much.

Beth has a really dark secret. She gets stuck with Master Nolan. He is to train her to release during a scene. It will be a challenge. It was a good book and I enjoyed the characters. Kyler is the biggest jerk. Like I even hate his name.

Great addition to the series

This is the first book in the series I could get into. The relationship seemed organic and naturally flowing compared to the previous 2 which were horribly rushed.

This is my favorite of this genre by FAR. The story and the narration was just so perfect from start to finish. The Dom is exactly the kind of Dom I have been searching for, for reading and for real life. I wish this audiobook was never ending 😭

Yes, I would. This is a great audio book and a welcome addition to the Masters of the Shadowlands series.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Master Nolan was an average looking guy and that he was so sensitive to Beth's needs.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene were Master Nolan rescues Beth from her abusive husband.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved how Beth was so determined to stand on her own two feet. I love how she falls for Master Nolan at Club Shadowlands and how he takes such good care of her. He is so very protective of her at all times.

Any additional comments?

All in all this is a fine addition to the series. Master Nolan is your average looking, hard working guy. Very rough around the edges and totally believable. Beth suffers so much at the hands of her abusive husband but still has a beautiful soul. Theirs is a love story for the ages.
