Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I'd definitely recommend this book to others interested in the crazy of love.I don't usually find myself interested in books that have book 1, 2, etc., but these books do not disappoint! My guess is she wrote the whole thing as one book and some editor told her it was too much or too long for one book. They probably said they'll look at the time and think it couldn't work to maintain interest for that long. BUT IT WOULD HAVE WORKED FOR ME!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Aside from the 2 main characters which had me hanging on, I liked John. He was really all Jesse had until her. It was what I liked about John, the people that stick by us.

What does Edita Brychta bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Accent, a perfect accent for a perfectly racy story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

In each of the books I wondered if I'd be compelled to stop listening, but quite frankly they never delved so deep into the what could have been deemed "raunchy" and I just kept listening. If you buy it and you think something is going in a direction you find distasteful, I honestly urge you to trust the author's ability to stay true to Ava's character!!!

Any additional comments?

Just do this one and the first one, "This Man." You'll walk around with a buzzy feeling and energy that just feels good!~

I absolutely love this series and hope there is another one on the way! This was an excellent follow up to This Man. It pulls you in emotionally and keeps you addicted... I could't stop listening! Also the steamy explicit scenes are so HOT! I want a Jesse Ward for myself please, lol.

Sexy, Suspenseful, and Shocking!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Beneath This Man?

When Eva walks in on something in the manor that she wasn't meant to see, the gut wrenching drama that comes next had me on the edge of my seat.

What does Edita Brychta bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Edita Brychta was once again amazing at bringing the characters to life in the story. There are times when I forget it's a narrator telling the story because she makes each person in the story so distinctive that I know who's talking before she announces them.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I absolutely would have listened to this all in one sitting if I could have! It had me glued to my computer practically all day and night for two days in a row. I actually forgot to eat lunch I was so riveted!

Looking forward to the last installment! I'm about to turn it on now!

Finally! We know Jesse's age 😂 What a freakin emotional rollercoaster! At times, their relationship is quite toxic. Spicy. Looooved this!

.....but OMG it's so hot! Twisted but hot, that's the short version. The long version is that Jesse (who is so bad but oh so very good, wink wink) has baggage and this baggage is beyond heavy. It's so heavy that even if i had one of those carts, it'd be way to heavy to push...he's a dominating alpha male, who again is twisted and there's Ava, who after all that's happened between them, I'd like to b*tch slap sometimes because damn, you have to read or listen this to Beneth this Man to understand my longing and frustrations but anyways, as much as this story was soooo over-the-top I hung on. i hung on because aside from the repetitive drama, J.E.M wrote in very good plots that had me feeling all kinds of emotions, I couldn't stop listening! And that says something because I've read/heard the Crossfire, Stark, Grey series and This Man is way better but to each their own, right? In the end, I know I'll be getting the third book in this series only because I can’t stand not knowing how it all ends!!! GAH!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes and No- It is in my top 10 favorite romance series, but not everyone will love this series because others want something different or more. For me it is what I needed for my "Crossfire Series-by Sylvia Day" addiction. I loved this, but it might not be for everyone. If you loved the first book in this series you will love this one too.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the whole book! Nothing stands out, but that can be because I am writing this review a little after I read the book. I just know I love this and I will listen to this series again!

No, but she did great!

This is the 4th time I read or listen to this book. Love all three of them. Can't get enough of Jessie and Ava.

I can't tell if I want to strangle him in breath play or sheer frustration. Lord Jesse Ward is the most aggravating, frustrating, and mind boggling H ever. I can't make up my mind. It's a serious dilemma.

Beneath This Man is a continuation of the Jesse Ward rollercoaster of crazy mad behavior found in This Man. I can only shake my head and hope for the best. I honestly think the only reason I haven't given up on Jesse is because I always route for the underdog and in this series...i feel he is it. His self sabotaging ways truly land him in some serious shit.

How has Ava not said @#$% Off and meant it, it's truly a miracle. Looking forward to more Central Jesse Cloud Nine but I seriously need an entire book in his POV if I'm ever going to love him.

I swear I want to shake Jesse senseless...
