While the premisse is not original, the author knew how to keep me engaged with a complex story about a forced marriage ,romantic thriller with threats, betrayals, manipulation, murder and steamy passion.
Carmella separated herself from her father and his crime syndicate years ago to forge a new life. She went on to become a respected pediatrician and single mother to her adorable son Gabriel.
Then her father manipulated/threatened her into an arranged marriage to another mafia family to form an alliance.
Jeffers Sanchez aka Alejandro Banderas is ordered by Don Santorelli to marry Carmella daughter of Don Lupini after a hit on the two families. Neither of them are thrilled about their situation. The moment they meet there is an undeniable pull between them that turns to so much more.
Hold on tight for a wild ride of twist, turns, secrets, action, danger and steamy hot chemistry.
My praise to the narrator, he managed to add intensity to the author's words.

The story WOW, Alejandro and Carmella are meant for each other, two half’s of a whole! I loved her strength, ingenuity and take no guano attitude! Alejandro has been through a lot in his past, and as you listen all will be revealed! The beautifully flowing story is so well written that there are no holes, no gaps, no lags, AND the true ne’er-do-well is closely guarded until the reveal! I loved every twisty turn, and I really loved the astounding character development! I had initial impressions about several of the characters that were completely changed by story’s end! Some that I initially detested became beloved, while others I thought I liked became detested! There was plenty of beautifully placed humor and perfectly placed, SCORCHING heat as well! The narration was a masterclass in using subtle voice cues and timing to bring characters and scenes realistically ALIVE! When combined with masterful writing, I became completely immersed in the world of “Arranged”, feeling EVERYTHING, be it heart pounding, heartbreaking, or heart soaring - I felt it all, and I loved it! I FIVE fabulous stars loved it ALL!

A perfect WOW! Masterful!

Arranged is the absolute perfect title for this book I'm absolutely in love with piper's writing style it's so wonderful reading / listening to when she serves up a smoking hot and extremely steamy sinful story I just couldn't stop listening to i need more ...

Skylar Morgan did such a beautiful job Narrating this exciting yet different story.
