The story stayed light so low drama and had a good bit of heat. Definitely some good laugh out loud moments. Not sure if I'll continue the series, but I did enjoy this book and I love Hollie Jackson's narration. She dishes out some thick Jersey accents for sure.

Several of Cassidy's titles are good but this is, by far, the best written and most entertaining romantic comedy I've heard so far. Tension, conflict, character develop in a paced plot structure. Graphic physical encounters occur in situations and places appropriate to the story structure. It's enough to make even retired English teachers like girl porn.

is there a series by DC that I do not love? so far? the answer is.... nope! I've throughly enjoyed every single book of every single series & I'd say I've listened to about 70% of her released audiobooks !
I like them bc like this they're funny, the character's are fun and easy going ...Hollies Jackson is an amazing narrator..I've heard her narrate audiobooks since the first author I actually randomly picked out to start listening to! So;- ever since if I see HJackson narrating a series then I know I'm in very good hands ('or ears?!)
As usual thr Happy Endings are oh so very happy & that made ME happy! can't wait to listen to #2..since this series is part of the audible prem +catalog for a little longer I am SO finishing my Dakota Cassidy Binge!! ❤️ !! You should do it also!! You SO wont regret it!!

JC the werewolf needs to mate with his prophesied life mate before the full moon or else he will die. This is because of a curse put on his family because they were being compassionate toward paranormals who were “odd” and letting them into the pack. JC is a beautician and part owner of a salon in Hoboken. She goes to the pound to get a kitten and comes out with JC in werewolf form. She thinks he’s a dog and names him Fluffy. He only has weeks to convince her to be his mate. It’s a funny story that I completely enjoyed so much that I stayed up all night listening to the audiobook.

Max … oh Max … You just had to take a walk on the wild side didn’t ya! What did that get you hmmm? Yep, a stretch in the pound! It’s a good thing JC took pity and adopted you! Serves ya right she named ya “Fluffy” big boy! Now whatcha gonna do … besides find out the hard way that kibble’s not what it’s cracked up to be … as you parade around in swanky doggie wear! Then there’s that pesky curse … times a’wastin Fluff! It’s tough being “An American Werewolf in Hoboken”! I laughed so hard I had trouble catching my breath as I listened to this hilariously inventive, definitely adults only story! The fantastic, perfectly timed, perfectly emoted narration made listening a truly enjoyable experience! Five fantastic stars across all categories!
