Melanie is a book and fact kind of girl. Kade is a walking, taking myth and legend. On what should’ve been a normal blind date, Melanie and Kade change each other’s lives on the drop of a dime. Embarking on a night of crazed passion, raw emotions and brutal truths, two people who are in no way alike, rock the foundation of each other’s being.

Kade was a of rarity among werewolves for me. He’s strong and dominant sexy as hell and oh my God does he have a dirty talking mouth on him. He’s next in line to be the alpha of the pack, but he also realize that people need to make their own choices. Learning to take the consequences that came with those choices.

Melanie was so smart but yet so dumb at the same time. She spent too much time using books for learning, instead of letting herself have an imagination. I love Melanie’s total freak out reaction to finding out werewolves exist. Seeing her frazzled and out of her safe zone made her more real and likable.

Raw, animalistic lust infused with emotions, sweet passion and heart is what Carrie Ann Ryan gives her reader/listeners in An Alpha’s Path. A fast read that turns up the heat while getting lost in the Redwood Pack.

Gregory Salinas takes An Alpha’s Path to the next level with his narration. Allowing the listener to feel like they are right along with the Redwoods. Gregory adds another level of dimension and passion to this tantalizing story with his succulent voice. He truly brings the Redwood Pack to life.

I don't normally read PNR but Carrie Ann is probably one of the few authors who could convince me to dive into Shifters and PNR. I am loving it and WOW does Gregory Salinas bring the growl to the audiobook.

The whole story line is great.

Melanie, she gets thrown into a world she had no idea existed. She has to decide what to do about her life and Kade.

What about Gregory Salinas’s performance did you like?

When Melanie goes to Kade after to fight.

When Melanie is set up on a blind date with Kade, she is nervous and doubtful that anything will come of it. However, the moment she sees him, she is lost. After a night together, Mel wakes up to find tears in the sheets and sees Kade turn into a wolf. She flees the hotel and hitches a ride with Lance, not knowing he is actually a member of Kade's pack! When both Lance and Kade claim to be her potential mates, Melanie must choose one or allow them to fight to the death.

If you're looking for a short paranormal story, this is the book for you!

Narrator was so boring... One has to imagine past his monotone performance to see the story as more than just 'a read'... Story very hot at beginning, yet then takes a nose dive as the heroine acts more like an unintelligent 'brainless' caricature of a 'blond' rather than a scientist. Story could have been a lot better.

What made the experience of listening to An Alpha's Path the most enjoyable?

This is the first book in a wonderful paranormal/shifter series. The alpha is hot, the HEA is not a pushover or stupid, his family is amazing. Can't wait for the rest of the brothers and baby SISTER to get their story>

This story is good overall. I like the concept quite a bit. However it was really choppy trying to follow whose thoughts we were in or who was speaking at times unless the narrator specifically threw his voice. If it was H speaking or h speaking it y clear but there are times we went from speaking to Melanie’s thoughts to Cade speaking.

Gregory Salinas is a favorite of mine and did a wonderful job with the narration of the material provided

Kade had already messed up in thinking the woman he was with could be his mate. now on a blind date he finds his true mate in his date, after a night of passion she runs and finds another saying she was his, she did not know or want their world so a fight for her makes her turn Kade away . can she fix this ?
