Very dirty, spicy, short version of Beauty and the Beast. Great story line. Narration was a little off. Overall enjoyed the book. Colin is a powerful man who acquires Lily cause of her dads debt to him. Colin has an instant carnal attraction to her. It takes Lily just a short while to realize his intent. Colin may be a beast but he has a soft spot for her and will do anything to keep her. Spice level is HOT!

A dark modern adaptation of beauty and the beast. Collin is a loan shark type gangster. Lilly follows her dad through the dark streets to see why he's being sketchy. To save her dad she offers herself as collideral to Collin.

The narrator also is really good, she just is whispering/ talking in a hushed tone. Being a mom of 2 small kids this did make me fall asleep. I get that she was going for a sautry sexy voice.

Sweet, steamy, and oh so hot. Lily tames the beast in Colin when she gives herself to him in place of her father. Narrator was excellent and did justice to Ms Bray's story.

I did really liked the story, I really did, but it was missing chapter 8 and I've got to scramble to know what happened, the story about his father and mother. Collin was good main character, but I don't know why he does what he does. The narrator did a good job and I'm overall, it was a good audiobook.

Short, but smoking hot

Lily (h) rushes in to save her father from a scarred loan shark, Colin (H), he owes money to by offering herself as collateral. Colin desperately wants Lily to be his and even though she is drawn to the older man, Lily refuses to be his if keeps her captive. Sweet 'Beauty and the Beast' quickie with a side of hot and steamy action.

I really enjoyed Colin and Lily's story which as you would imagine from the title is a story which gives us an adult take on the much-loved fairytale. I thought that both Colin and Lily were likeable characters who were very well-drawn.

Colin is tough, a gangster and a loan shark who has loaned money to Lily's dad who can't pay it back. Lily fears for her father's life and offers herself as collateral for her dad's debts. Colin agrees and takes Lily to his home. He's intrigued by Lily who doesn't seem to fear him. His feelings become engaged and he becomes very protective of her.

He's an alpha male with a soft heart but only where Lily's concerned and his feelings are returned although Lily fights with herself about this, how can she love this man? It's a great version of the old story giving us the perfect blend of angst, steam and love. I just wish it had been longer.

This quick tale is narrated by Naomi Barnes who does an excellent job of bringing this enjoyable story to life.

This was a really good book. Colin and Lily were really good together. Lily gives her freedom up to help her father but she never thought that she would fall for her captive. Colin never thought that the bend for anyone but he doesn't that for Lily. These two are intense with their chemistry but also sweet.
