Finishing a great book

can ruin me for other books, sometimes. I'll just want to retreat with my hands clutched to my chest and begin again, pretending it's not over yet. But other times when I finish a wonderful listen, like now, it will light up the world of books before me. I'll be inspired to go on a tear, believing in the promise of every story to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's great. One Day in December by Josie Silver (aka this month's pick for Reese’s Book Club x Hello Sunshine) pulled me out of a listening rut that I didn't even know I was in! Does that ever happen to you? Rut-breakers are different for everyone, but I think they always have a special place in our hearts. And after that lovely Christmas romance I just experienced, I'm ready for those record-breaking 37 new Hallmark movies this year!
