The Standard plan lets you select 1 audiobook each month that you can listen to as long as you’re a member.
How does the free trial work?
Audible is a membership service that provides customers with the world's largest selection of audiobooks as well as podcasts, exclusive originals and more. Your Audible membership is free for 30 days. If you enjoy your Audible trial, do nothing and your membership will automatically continue. We'll send you an email reminder before your trial ends. Download the free Audible app to start listening on your iOS or Android device. You can also listen on any Alexa-enabled device, compatible Fire tablets, Kindles, Sonos devices and more. You can cancel anytime before your trial ends and you won’t be charged. There are no commitments and no cancellation fees.
What are credits?
For Premium Plus members, every audiobook is worth 1 audiobook credit—no matter how long it is or how much it originally cost. This includes audiobooks topping the bestseller charts, as well as any audiobook in the Plus Catalog.
Audiobooks you buy with a credit are yours to keep.
You’ll get 1 audiobook credit added to their account each month. You’ll also be able to buy extra credits at a discount for as long as you’re a member. Some credits expire, as detailed in Learn about credits help center article.
What is the Plus Catalog?
The Plus Catalog includes thousands of select Audible Originals, audiobooks, and podcasts to stream or download in the Audible app with your monthly Premium Plus membership.
You can add audiobooks in the Plus Catalog to your Library and keep them as long as your membership is active and the title remains in the Plus Catalog.
What happens to audiobooks in my Library if I cancel?
Any audiobooks you've purchased with cash or credits are yours to keep even after you cancel your membership. You lose access to titles from the Plus Catalog and to any audiobook selections you have made as an Audible Standard member.
These titles will have a lock icon on them in your Library. You will regain access to locked titles when you are in a membership.
How many audiobooks do I get with membership?
As a Standard member, you can select 1 audiobook a month from our entire collection. You can listen to your selected audiobooks for as long as you’re a member, and purchase additional audiobooks for the full price.
As a Premium Plus member, you’ll get 1 credit a month to buy any title you like from our entire collection. This title is yours to keep, even if you cancel your membership. You’ll also get access to thousands of included titles in the Plus Catalog, and you’ll never pay more than the regular price of membership for any additional audiobook purchase.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, if you subscribed on the Audible website, you can contact customer care to switch memberships. If you’ve subscribed directly in the Audible app, you need to visit your app account subscription settings to see if other plans are available.
What if I forget to select an audiobook one month?
Premium Plus members can roll over up to 5 audiobook credits each month until they expire. If you’re a Standard member, your ability to select 1 monthly audiobook doesn’t roll over to the next month.
