My super-mutt,
Trigger, is my senior rescue dog, sidekick, and best bud. Before coming into my life, he was surrendered to a shelter, but was quickly saved by a rescue organization. This story has everything! Kids, bank robbers, mysteries, and lots and lots of dogs! (Heather even learned that the dogs you hear barking during the story are rescue dogs like me!) Riley Mack and his friends (aka The Gnat Pack

Furry, finned, and feathered friends listen, too!
We dogs are known for our sharp noses and keen hearing. (I love to sing with far-off sirens!) A few months ago, my person decided that part of our bedtime routine (after walks, snacks, and pj's) would include listening to a story. I was confused at first—who was that talking?—but now I love my stories, and won’t even lie down to sleep until they start! I decided to ask some other furry Audible friends about their favorites, so I could start planning my next bedtime listen.

Is Joey Pigza too funny for bedtime?
Last week Heather was excited to start listening to a new story. She said this time Joey Pigza and his dog Pablo were going to help rescue dogs find pawrents and remind everyone that Pets make people better!
I wished I could help them, but after Joey started talking about dog costumes, I decided that maybe I’d find my own way to help. I like listening to the man tell me all the adventures (Heather says it’s Jack Gantos and he wrote the stories), but he is too funny! It’s hard to go to sleep after laughing so hard. Maybe Joey and Pablo would go better with breakfast.

Can I have a dog?
When I meet kids in my neighborhood, I sometimes hear them tell their grown-ups that they want a dog, too. And Heather always lets them know I’m a rescue dog and that I’ve been good for her mental health. Even doctors say having a pet is good for you (as long as you’re not allergic!). If your family is talking about the big responsibility of adopting a fur baby, maybe this will help.

Named after Willie Nelson’s guitar, Trigger likes naps on the grass, the smell of taco trucks, and listening to bedtime stories.
