Characters

• Feyre Archeron: The main protagonist, High Lady of the Night Court. Feyre is a former human turned High Fae with powers from all seven High Lords. Throughout the book, Feyre works to master her newfound powers and navigate complex political alliances to save Prythian from war.

• Rhysand: High Lord of the Night Court and Feyre's mate. Rhysand is powerful, cunning, and deeply devoted to Feyre and his inner circle. He leads the efforts to unite the High Lords against Hybern while battling his own inner demons from centuries of trauma.

• Tamlin: High Lord of the Spring Court and Feyre's former love interest. Tamlin's actions in the previous book have strained his relationship with Feyre, leading to complex dynamics as they navigate the impending war.

About the Author

Sarah J. Maas is a bestselling American fantasy author. Born in New York City in 1986, she began writing her debut novel, Throne of Glass, at age 16, sharing chapters on FictionPress.com before pursuing publication. Maas graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College in 2008 with a degree in creative writing.

Maas's career skyrocketed with the success of her Throne of Glass series, which has been translated into 35 languages. She followed this with the popular Court of Thorns and Roses series, a loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast. In 2020, Maas ventured into adult fantasy with her Crescent City series, further expanding her readership.
