Edoardo Ballerini

Edoardo Ballerini

Edoardo Ballerini is a two-time winner of the Best Male Narrator Audie Award, and the voice of more than 500 audiobooks, including classics by Virgil and Dante, present-day bestsellers, and spiritual titles from the Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hahn, and Pope Leo XIV. His monumental 135-hour recording of Karl Ove Knausgaard’s My Struggle series and his narration of The Hebrew Bible have further cemented his status as a premier voice in audio performance.

The prolific actor, director, and Golden Voice narrator has been celebrated for his versatile and naturalistic performances. Born in Los Angeles in 1970, he was raised between New York and Milan by his parents—Italian poet Luigi Ballerini and American writer Julia Ballerini—and he is bilingual and holds dual citizenship, which has deeply influenced his linguistic range.

Onscreen, Ballerini is best known for his work in The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, 24, and the recent A Murder at the End of the World. He is also the co-creator of the Audible Original The Angel of Rome. In 2025, he launched a curated collection of classic literature audiobooks, The PD Collection.
