Soneela Nankani

Soneela Nankani

A highly acclaimed audiobook narrator, Soneela Nankani is also a classically trained actress with an MFA from Columbia University. She’s a prolific voice artist with over 15 years in the industry who has narrated more than 500 titles across a diverse range of genres, including young adult, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, and nonfiction.

In 2021, Nankani was honored as an AudioFile Golden Voice, a lifetime achievement award recognizing her exceptional storytelling and vocal range. Her work is noted for its cultural authenticity and facility with languages and dialects, often bringing to life South Asian and Black experiences.

Beyond her solo performances, Nankani is a frequent collaborator in multicast productions and is a member of PANA, APA, and SAG-AFTRA. Her accolades include more than 16 Earphones Awards and nominations for both Audie and SOVAS awards. Outside the recording booth, Nankani works as an equity consultant and arts administrator, focusing on inclusion and social justice within the nonprofit sector.
