Courtney Maum can't be pinned down to one genre in her work. Just try and get us to choose between the conceptual satire of her novel Touch, her practical guide for writers Before and After the Book Deal, and her COVID-era Audible Original short This Is Not Your Fault—all are equally Maum-esque!
So it wasn't really a surprise that the author's favorite listens in Audible Plus are just as genre-fluid and surprising as her own work, and that perhaps the one constant is a subtle (or sometimes, not so subtle) undercurrent of edgy humor. That, and excellent narration—she's a listener after our own hearts.
