Sheri Hauser grew up in Seattle, Washington accustomed to the rainy days and nights going on long hikes in the Cascades in the summer and snow skiing in the winter. She graduated from High School in Leavenworth, Washington and attended Bible College in Oregon. Married at 20, she went on to nursing school and had two children. In 2001, she began writing spiritual books and started to look for a publisher. Not finding one who would accept her manuscript, she opted to learn what was needed to grow her own publishing company. Initially the company was called Glory Bound Books and obtained license in Las Vegas in 2005. As the company grew, she tossed her entire nursing paycheck into purchasing printers and software. She attended classes at the University of Las Vegas for graphic design, web site development and photo shop. It took three years of intensive study to learn papers, the publishing industry and how to put books together. Throughout this time, she developed the Lasertrain (a set of digital templates for making your own books). She climbed the ladder of her profession and after 30 years as a Cardiothoracic Nurse in Intensive Care, she retired from nursing full-time to dedicate her time to grow a publishing company. By 2016, she had written 25 books, and published over 600 books (from authors). Her and her husband relocated to Camp Verde, Arizona in 2017 and set the publishing company in an old house living in the upstairs. They love the quiet cowboy town and she is presently active in forming a newly developing Chamber of Commerce. She is the president. Additionally, she is on the Curriculum Council at OLLI and a Facilitator teaching classes related to publishing at Osher Life Long Learning Institute in Sedona, Clarkdale and Camp Verde. 2020 started off with a bang when she began doing ads on Amazon for her books. Today, she has 15 books on page 1 of their topic search engines and is actively seeing sales daily. Sheri Hauser is the author of several series of books including: Glorybound Lasertrain, Dream Books with Steps to Intimacy with God, GBK Children's books and a couple of text books on publishing.
