ONE OF THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL MYSTERY THAT EXISTS IS HOW IN THIS WORLD--WE CAN BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT--WHO IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.
Filled with the Holy Spirit is a book about receiving from the Holy Spirit and copying what He tells us in our lives so that it produces something that others can recognize as being ‘of God’.
The image that God gave me in dreams was one of our Father being in His house having guests over. He is the one behind the bar who serves the fizzy beverages. Then, we accept them from His hand and add our own flavors. What He gives is seltzer water and we add cherry, vanilla, grape, or whatever color is in front of where we stand. Then, we take the drink and hand it to the guests who are waiting for their beverages.
The Holy Spirit is the same person no matter who He comes to. There is only one Spirit, and one God. When God wants to bring refreshment to people, He uses us to deliver it. People are served when our hands reach out to them. But, we don’t all serve the same way. The Holy Spirit may give me a gift of rhyme and I share it within my own flavor, or color. When I share the gift of rhyme, I write children’s stories or inspirational poetry which is reflected from visions and dreams. This is ‘my’ color. Whereas someone else may receive the gift of rhyme and use it to sing songs playing the piano. Their gift of rhyme becomes lyrics for country songs. This is their color; their flavor.
What this book shows is how we make sure that the seltzer water has not been tainted before we receive it, and how we figure out our own color.
