Shawn Lazar was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, and lives in Denton, TX, with his wife and children. He studied theology at McGill University (BTh), the Free University of Amsterdam (MA), and McMaster Divinity College (DPT). He is the pastor of Gateway United Baptist Church and publishes the Art of Grace blog and podcast for Free Grace International.
