Hi, thanks for checking out my author page. Here's a little bit of information about me. I'm the Founding Director of Engaging Minds, a specialist strengths consultancy. My background is in international organisational change and development in Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia. Before setting up Engaging Minds I was a director at The Economist Group, publisher of The Economist magazine. I'm an award-winning author of eight books, including The Strengths Workbook An Eight-Week Programme to Discover Your Strengths and What Makes You Thrive (2019 LID Publishing), The Strengths Book: Discover How to Be Fulfilled in your Work and In Life (2017 LID Publishing), Strengths-based recruitment and development (2016 Kogan Page), The Right Thing: An Everyday Guide to Ethics in Business (2010 John Wiley and Sons), The Rookies Guide to Generation Y (2009 Marshall Cavendish), Management F/Laws (with Russ Ackoff & Herb Addison (2006 Triarchy Press), The Stone Age Company (2005 Cyan Books), and Trust Matters (with Jeremy Kourdi, 2004 Palgrave Macmillan). I serve on the Steering Committee of The Daedalus Trust, a charity founded by Lord David Owen to promote research hubris syndrome in business. I also work in schools and colleges to bring strengths-based thinking into their careers support for young people. I have an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from the University of Surrey and am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. In my spare time I travel, read a lot and dance Argentine tango.
