Author ROBIN HOPKINS is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, and podcast host. She began her career as a stand-up comic in New York City, performing regularly at Caroline’s, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-Up New York. Her acting credits include Boardwalk Empire, Louie, Hindsight, and Mi America. In the writing world, she is a frequent contributor to both HuffPost and Medium. Her television writing credits include VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live and Divas, MTV’s Teen Mom Reunion Special and O Music Awards, and a pilot, Age Against the Machine. Robin is also an accomplished playwright. Her one-woman show In Search of Tulla Berman debuted to sold-out crowds in San Francisco, with subsequent runs in Winnipeg, Canada, the Pelican Theatre in New York City, and the Ars Nova Theatre. Robin’s play Love, Punky went on to have a reading at Ars Nova and a run at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Robin is the co-host of the popular People’s Choice award-winning podcast If These Ovaries Could Talk where she chats weekly with LGBTQ families, highlighting, normalizing, and lifting them up for all the world to see.
